Magic Masala Salmon


  • 3-4 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 4 salmon steaks (Or cod, Haddock, Seabream)
  • 4 tsp Magic Masala
  • 1/2 lemon juice
  • Pinch of salt


  • Mix masala, lemon juice in a medium bowl. Add salt to taste and stir.
  • Add the salmon and completely coat all over.
  • Cover and marinade for a couple of hours or overnight in the fridge.
  • Remove from the fridge at least 30 mins before cooking.
  • Warm oil in a shallow pan till hot and add salmon. As soon as you add the salmon hits the pan the oil should be hot enough so you hear a sizzling sound. Be careful not to be too hot to burn.
  • Turn until cooked through.
  • Turn the heat slightly up, at the end, to make it a little crispy if needed. Again be careful not to burn.
         Serve with crushed garlic butter new and a mango and red pepper salsa.
